Internet Explorer CSS Disaster
Just noticed that I’ve got a major problem with my blog. It looks pretty poor in IE. And when I say poor I mean it doesn’t display at all. Nothing. Nada. Just a blank white page…
Now, I know Firefox is popular but a lot of the population still uses IE for some bizarre masochistic reason, so I need it to work in both. So far a brief investigation hasn’t resulted in any quick fixes.
If you do have the opportunity to look at the site with IE then let me know if you see anything…
Hello Jon. I was running out of things to do to avoid working and found your site by googling names of ex-housemates at Teesside. Are you the Foj who went there?
Anyway… IE7 gives a lovely blank white page on your site. Might have something to do with not closing the tag just before the tag gets closed?

@Bill, you’re a star. Fixed and fixed, although I must note that the style declaration was closed at the end with />, is that not acceptable or does IE just not like it?
Not sure. Dreamweaver doesn’t recognise the self closing /> as valid so it’s probably not on style tags. As usual Firefox is more forgiving than IE when it comes to unorthodox code.
When I rule the world there will only be 1 browser allowed… Safari (because it renders text sooooooo pretty).
